• The competition entry period starts on 1 September 2024 and ends on 31 August 2025, which means that any property seller or buyer involved in a successful property transaction concluded through Rawson within the competition period, will be entered automatically and will stand a chance to win.

How do I enter?

• If you successfully buy or sell a property through a Rawson Properties Franchise, Rawson Commercial Franchise or buy a unit in a development by Rawson Developers, your name will automatically be entered into a lucky draw.

How many times can I enter?

• If you successfully buy and sell multiple properties during the competition period, you will be entered multiple times. One successful property transaction secures one entry.

Will the final draw be audited?

• Yes, the lucky draw will be administered by an independent third party and will be subject to audit in accordance with the Competition T’s & C’s

How long after the competition period ends, will the winner be announced?

• All successful transactions concluded between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2025 will be entered into a lucky draw. We have allocated a further 3 months (up to 30 November 2025) to ensure properties bought and sold before 31 August 2025 have an opportunity to transfer in the Deeds Office (a requirement for the entry to be considered valid). The lucky draw will therefore take place on 5 December 2025 and winners will be announced after the audit process has been completed, on 12 December 2025.

I own vacant land. If I list and sell this through Rawson, does it gain me entry into the competition?

• Yes, sellers and buyers of vacant land (whether residential or commercial land) will be entered into the lucky draw

If I buy a property through Rawson Developers, in one of their developments, am I eligible for entry into this competition?

• Yes, your name will be entered into the competition. The unit you have bought through Rawson Developers has to be registered in your name at the Deeds Office, before the prize will be transferred into your name.

I am not a South African citizen, or live outside of South Africa. Can I enter this competition when buying or selling through a Rawson agency?

• Yes, as long as you bought or sold a property through a Rawson Franchise operating in South Africa

Rawson has agencies operating outside of South Africa, in countries such as Zimbabwe and Mauritius. Does this competition extend to individuals buying or selling property through these non-South African based agencies?

• Unfortunately not. This competition is limited to sales concluded in South Africa (and facilitated by Rawson Franchises within the borders of South Africa).
