ordinary residential property, requiring only a 10% deposit of R170,000.00 from the buyer. Other
banks classify it as a small farm and finance up to 60% or 70% of the purchase price, namely
R1,020,000-00 or R1,190,000 in this case, which means the Purchaser pays a cash deposit of 40% or
30% of the purchase price, which is R680,000-00 or R510,000. (Transfer duty to SARS plus the
conveyancing fees will be around R65,000. If you require bank financing, add bond registration fees
