Depth of the reserve varies but a borehole produced up to 30 meters of sand whereafter coal was struck, with a potential total of up to 3.5 million cubic meters of building and plaster sand available. The sand is already available with no topsoil to be removed, and no heavy equipment is needed to reach it. A prospecting permit has been allocated to a mining company for the coal for the whole area of more than 2000Ha, and the new owner can negotiate an agreement for the coal with the permit holder.
